Psalms 113

The Lord Exalts the Humble.

1 ^{▼▼ Or Hallelujah! Praise}Praise ^{▼▼ Heb Yah}the Lord!
^cPraise, O ^dservants of the Lord,
Praise the name of the Lord.
2 ^eBlessed be the name of the Lord
From this time forth and forever.
3 ^fFrom the rising of the sun to its setting
The ^gname of the Lord is to be praised.
4 The Lord is ^hhigh above all nations;
His ⁱglory is above the heavens.

5 ^jWho is like the Lord our God,
Who ^kis enthroned on high,
6 Who ^{▼▼ Or looks far below in the heavens and on the earth?
,} ^mhumbles Himself to behold
The things that are in heaven and in the earth?
7 He ⁿraises the poor from the dust
And lifts the needy from the ash heap,
8 To make them ^osit with ^{▼▼ Or nobles}princes,
With the ^{▼▼ Or nobles}princes of His people.
9 He ^rmakes the barren woman abide in the house
As a joyful mother of children.
